This section looks at the different kinds of sentences that exist - SIMPLE, COMPOUND, COMPLEX AND COMPOUND COMPLEX.
Good writing needs to have a variety of sentence lengths - SHORT and LONG, and each of these are used for specific reasons which are looked at here.
Sentences are created to express ideas, and usually it is necessary to add detail to these ideas, for which CLAUSES and PHRASES are used. The different kinds of clauses and phrases and the way that they are used is also discussed in this section.
Finally, a simple text using basic sentences is transformed using more advanced sentence structures.
