Theory:

English words can be divided into two groups - CONTENT WORDS which carry all the meaning, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, and STRUCTURAL WORDS which are all the little words needed for grammatical reasons.


The main types of structural words fall into the following groups:

Determiners

Linkers

Prepositions

Articles and Quantifiers

Pronouns

Question Words

Auxiliary Verbs

Comparatives and Superlatives

Multi-Word Verbs

Common expressions


And here we will be looking at these kinds of words and how they are used, so that our work to complete sentences is easier to understand.
