3.8 Word Groups - FROM

Theory:

The word FROM is a preposition, and it's usually not that important in a sentence, so it's often unstressed.

If it comes at the end of the question,

Where are you FROM?

It's unstressed, but it is still pronounced normally frOm.

If it comes in the middle of a sentence, the short O vowel changes to a SCHWA, and frOM is pronounced frUm.

I got it frUm the market.

I got a postcard frUm David.
